Chuck Courtenay Releases Brand-New four-song Country EP – Official Press Release

Locally-based bandleader to celebrate with a live concert and CD Release Party

SAVANNAH, Ga., February 7, 2013 – — Popular Savannah, Ga.-based country music singer, guitarist and bandleader Chuck Courtenay celebrates the release of his brand-new EP (GOOD SIDE OF THIS BAR) with a live concert Saturday, March 2 at Saddle Bags bar on Historic River Street

Courtenay, backed by his full band, will perform songs from this, his second professional CD release, as well as other original tunes and well-known favorites. This event also marks the first time fans and the general public will have the opportunity to purchase copies of the recently completed four-song EP.

Recorded in famed Music City, USA, Nashville, Tn., with a host of A-List session musicians who have graced countless albums and tours by major, chart-topping artists, GOOD SIDE OF THIS BAR was produced by Dave McAfee, who in addition to being country superstar Toby Keith’s drummer for well over a decade both co-produced and played on Jamey Johnson’s massive hit album THAT LONESOME SONG (which was nominated for an amazing three Grammys and five American Country Music Awards, plus won

Song of The Year for “In Color”).

The EP’s four radio-friendly tracks are merely a preview of Chuck’s forthcoming full-length debut album, which he plans to finish and release by the middle of 2013. Impressively, GOOD SIDE OF THIS BAR is being released on McAfee’s very own DMP Records Nashville imprint.

Physical CD copies of the new EP will be on sale at this concert for $7.00. Beginning March 5, it will also be available for high-quality download at iTunes and all other major digital media outlets (and select retail stores).

Admission to the 21+ Only concert at Saddle Bags will be $5.00. The show starts at 10:00 pm with opening act Lyn Avenue.

Chuck Courtenay will be promoting his new release nationwide, and will tour the USA starting this spring, playing both solo and full-band dates.
